In june 2004 the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy granted preliminary recognition to the
selkirk rex. the curly coated selkirk rex is a medium to large cat with heavy boning and cobby type, similar in shape to a british shorthair cat. the first Selkirk Rex Cats arrived in the uk in 2002. The Selkirk Rex
section of the website will attempt to cover the unique differences of this new breed. |

Southern British Shorthair Cat Club Members can use the forms available by clicking the respective buttons to the left to add British Shorthair Cats / Selkirk Rex Cats and British Shorthair Kittens / Selkirk
Rex Kittens which they have available and to update your membership details. it is best if you have your Southern British Shorthair Cat Club Membership Card or Membership Number handy.
Rescue Organisations and Members of the Public can add cats and older kittens to the re-home list as long as they are British Shorthairs, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Non-Pedigrees and subject to the conditions of this List. |
