Show Manager's Message

The Committee and I welcome you to the Fourth Championship and 10^th Anniversary Show of the Southern British Shorthair Cat Club and thank you, once again, for supporting us. 

Last year we had a bumper entry and we were hoping for a similar response this year.  Unfortunately due to some problems beyond our control it looked as if our numbers would be seriously depleted.  However, I am very pleased to say that loyal members and non-members alike have rallied and we are very pleased with our final entry.

 A great amount of hard work goes into the preparation of the show but without you, the exhibitors, judges, stewards, stall holders and those who help with catering, table work and trophies on the day there would not be a show so I would like to thank you all personally.

 As this is our 10^th Anniversary Show the Committee decided we would like to celebrate by giving every exhibitor a Special Anniversary Gift and a free tea or coffee.  Vouchers for both these will be in your Vetting-in envelopes and the gift can be collected from the Club Table.

 As last year, there are Rosettes only for the Open classes but Rosettes and Prize Cards for the Miscellaneous Classes.  All Rosettes and Prize Cards will be put out on the pens.

 We hope that everyone has an enjoyable day, a safe journey home and that we will see you again on 1^st March 2008.
