The club's Second Sanction Show for British Shorthair and Manx cats, plus Household Pets was held under GCCF Rules on Saturday 2nd March 2002 at Therfield School, Dilston Road, Leatherhead, Surrey.

Show Manager's Message

Welcome to the second Sanction Show of the Southern British Shorthair Cat Club.

Well, we're now more than halfway to becoming a Championship show and I would like to thank everyone for helping us get this far and say a special thank you to all those here today. Sadly, our numbers are very disappointing this year, so I want to put in a plea for our final Sanction show next year. Club members, please support your breed show - put the date in your diaries now - 1st March 2003.

As always, it has taken a great deal of hard work by our committee, friends and families to organise the show and my thanks to all for their help and encouragement and of course, to Jeff my computer wizard, without whom there would be no paperwork.

Finally, my personal thanks to the judges, stewards and other workers who are going to have a busy day and of course, you the exhibitors for bringing your lovely cats. Good luck and whatever happens, do enjoy yourselves.
