The Southern British Shorthair
Cat Club is one of the largest GCCF affiliated breed clubs
representing the British Shorthair breed. We were not created
just to sell kittens - although we do do this pretty well! Some of the benefits of

Fees
There is a £3.00 joining fee,
and then annual membership fees are: UK & Channel Islands:
Single £5.00, Joint £7.50, Junior £2.50 Overseas: Single £7.50,
Joint £9.50
New Members
To join the club please

Application Form . Your
payment including the Joining Fee (£3) and the Annual Membership
Fee should be sent to the address below. If you have a current credit or debit card you may submit
the Form and make your payment on-line.
Postal Payments should be made by Cheque or Postal Order made payable to the Southern British Shorthair Cat Club. Overseas applicants applying by Post should send payment in the form of a Sterling Bankers Draft. Please send your Payment and Application Form to the Club's Membership Secretary:

Applications will be put forward to the Committee for approval at their first meeting following receipt of the membership fees. This process may take up to 8 weeks depending on when the Committee next meets.

All membership fees become due
on the 1st January subsequent to the year you joined the club.

Please do consider using the 2 year or 10 year Membership Options since these save the Club money and the Committee time.
Prefix Applications
Under normal circumstances the Committee will not consider
counter signing Prefix Applications until you have been a member
of the Southern British Shorthair Cat Club for a minimum of a year. All Prefix Applications should be sent to the
Club's Secretary: Maggie Whiteley, 6 Southgate Grove, Islington,
London, N1 5BT along with a stamped addressed envelope. You
should include a letter outlining your experience in breeding and
any other facts that you feel support your application.
